The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has awarded Peraton a potential 10-year, $279.9 million contract to maintain, scale, and modernize critical communications infrastructure across enterprise data centers and hybrid cloud computing environments. The award, secured under the Capacity Services Communications III (CSC III) vehicle, features an initial five-year base performance period followed by five individual single-year option periods. DISA evaluated three competitive bids for the contract before selecting the incumbent service provider.
Under the scope of CSC III, Peraton will deliver comprehensive technical capabilities encompassing mission hardware, operating system software, enterprise storage, advanced network management software, and end-to-end automation tools. The contract's geographic reach extends across DISA-managed locations as well as non-DISA mission sites across the globe. Notably, CSC III marks a deliberate structural evolution in DISA's architecture requirements: rather than committing to fixed hardware equipment sets, the framework emphasizes on-demand, scalable capacity services. This dynamic model enables DISA to seamlessly adjust network and storage capacity aligned directly with real-time operational mission demands.
